About the role

As an Intern in Technology Consulting & Solutions, you'll actively shape how the company engages with prospects, build the business case for Flip, and translate complex customer challenges into compelling solutions. You'll work directly with the Head of Solution Engineering and a team of experienced Solution Engineers, bringing structure, analytical rigor, and sharp thinking to the full pre-sales cycle.

What you'll do

  • Deeply analyze target companies — their industry, org structure, frontline workforce challenges, and digital maturity — and structure hypothesis-driven discovery frameworks that help Solution Engineers go into prospect calls with the right questions, pain hypotheses, and success criteria.
  • Build clear, data-backed value models that quantify the impact of Flip for specific prospect profiles.
  • Analyze the competitive landscape and how competing solutions are positioned from a functional and technical perspective.
  • Support the identification of prospects' IT infrastructure, system landscapes, and integration requirements.
  • Support Solution Engineers in demo preparation, RFP/RFI contributions, and build reusable solution playbooks and use case libraries for key verticals.
  • Track SE engagement metrics to surface insights that improve how the team operates.

What you'll need

  • Currently pursuing a Master's or advanced Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, (Business) Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Work in a structured, hypothesis-driven way with a strong focus on execution and output quality.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English — clear, persuasive, and confident in both writing and speaking.
  • Proactive, reliable, and bring a genuine team-player mentality.

Nice to have

  • Initial experience in Consulting, Sales, Business Development, or Startups / fast-paced environments.
  • Background or strong interest in IT, SaaS, or B2B Tech — particularly system integrations, enterprise software, or technical pre-sales.
