As an Assortment & Pricing Analyst, you will be at the heart of our commercial engine. You will be responsible for developing and executing the strategies that determine our product selection and pricing structure, ensuring we remain competitive while driving profitability.
What you'll do
- Own Pricing Strategy: Develop and manage the end-to-end pricing models for our 3,000+ SKUs and delivery fees, directly impacting Flink's revenue and margin.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Dive deep into our vast datasets using SQL to analyze customer behavior, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Impactful Analysis & Modelling: Build financial models to forecast the impact of pricing changes and assortment adjustments, providing clear recommendations to guide business decisions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as the analytical expert for our commercial teams working closely with Category Management, Marketing, and Operations, presenting your findings and influencing senior stakeholders with data-backed insights.
- Performance Monitoring: Create and maintain dashboards to track your strategies' performance, ensuring we continuously optimize for both customer satisfaction and business goals.
What you'll need
- Commercial Acumen: Some experience in a pricing, commercial, or highly analytical role where your work directly influenced business outcomes.
- Expert in SQL: Fully proficient in SQL and able to write complex queries to manipulate and extract insights from large datasets.
- Stakeholder Management: Excellent communication skills and proven ability to manage and influence intense stakeholders, turning data into a compelling story that drives action.
- Problem-Solver Mindset: Naturally curious, proactive, and thriving on tackling ambiguous challenges in a fast-paced environment.
- Pricing Experience: Understanding of pricing elasticity and how this relates to consumer behaviour.
- Academic Background: Degree in Economics, Analytics, Business or similar.
Nice to have
- Working, practical experience with a programming language like Python for data analysis.
- Familiarity with dbt.
