About the role
As a Full Stack Engineer in the Pricing & Voucher Management team, you'll build and scale the APIs and services that empower internal stakeholders and engineering squads across flaconi. You'll collaborate with engineers at all levels to solve challenging problems, architect resilient systems, and drive real business impact.
What you'll do
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features across Pricing, Voucher Management, and Campaign domains - owning your work end-to-end from conception to production.
- Build and scale resilient backend services and APIs that process millions of pricing updates and voucher events per day, ensuring reliability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, engineers, and business stakeholders to translate complex domain requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical discussions, balancing speed of delivery with long-term code quality.
- Break down complex domain challenges into well-scoped pieces of work, navigating a large product landscape with autonomy and confidence.
- Apply engineering best practices - CI/CD, TDD, observability, and code reviews - and leverage AI tools to boost team productivity.
What you'll need
- Fluent in Typescript/Javascript
- Back-end development with Node.js. Additionally, Java or Python.
- Front-end development using React
- Hands-on experience designing APIs, microservices, and event-driven systems
- Built systems on AWS (Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, API Gateway) and write and maintain Terraform configurations
- Comfortable working with at least one SQL database (PostgreSQL a plus) and one NoSQL store
- Familiarity with Serverless Framework and GraphQL; advocate for best practices: CI/CD, TDD/BDD/DDD, logging and monitoring
- Experience in Scrum or Kanban teams with excellent written and spoken English communication
Nice to have
- Experience working in the e-commerce industry
- Previous experience with CommerceTools integrations
- Good knowledge about DevOps, security engineering embracing Developer experience
