About the role

This Fitness Manager role involves overseeing the daily operations of BEAT81's fitness studios in Berlin, ensuring smooth running of facilities and maintaining relationships with freelance coaches. You'll be responsible for the in-studio experience, gathering feedback, and supporting the expansion of fitness programs across new locations.

What you'll do

  • Support daily studio operations, ensuring spaces, equipment, and tech are ready for members and coaches
  • Spend time in studios observing workout environments and gathering experience insights
  • Maintain communication with freelance coach community, sharing updates and collecting feedback
  • Address operational or technical issues, coordinating with internal teams and coaches
  • Review customer feedback and identify trends or improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate clear communication between teams to maintain studio standards
  • Stay current with industry trends and bring fresh ideas to enhance fitness offerings
  • Support expansion of BEAT81's fitness programs to new locations

What you'll need

  • Experience in designing and implementing structured fitness programs and group training
  • Background in coaching, personal training, or fitness instruction
  • Passion for technology-driven fitness solutions and innovation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to mentor and support coaches
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with tech, product, and operations teams
  • Fluency in English (German is a plus)

Nice to have

  • Certification in sports science, personal training, or related fields
  • Experience in fitness-tech or digital fitness platforms
  • Familiarity with gamification and engagement strategies in fitness
