About the role
We are looking for a Principal Product Manager to define and execute an ambitious strategy to expand Contentful into adjacent marketer and agency workflows through AI-powered solutions. This role sits at the intersection of product strategy, intelligent automation, and new revenue creation, owning outcomes end-to-end from discovery through launch.
What you'll do
- Define and evolve a clear opportunity map for adjacent marketer and agency workflows, identifying where Contentful can create durable, monetizable value
- Lead end-to-end discovery and validation across a portfolio of new initiatives, engaging directly with customers and agencies to uncover unmet needs
- Make disciplined prioritization decisions across multiple bets, balancing ambition with scope control and commercial potential
- Translate validated opportunities into differentiated, AI-enabled products that automate marketing transformation and execution work
- Drive execution through a dedicated cross-functional squad while coordinating with platform teams
- Partner with Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing to deliver cohesive, high-quality outcomes
- Collaborate with Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales to shape positioning, packaging, and pricing with accountability for revenue impact
- Act as the product lead for this emerging domain, bringing clarity and momentum to ambiguous problem spaces
What you'll need
- Experience as Principal or Group Product Manager in B2B SaaS with proven track record of building new products from concept through revenue impact
- Demonstrated success leading 0→1 initiatives in ambiguous environments with measurable commercial outcomes
- Strong strategic thinking with ability to map opportunity landscapes and translate insights into actionable roadmaps
- Hands-on experience with AI-enabled, automation-driven, or workflow-centric products
- Commercial acumen including experience shaping packaging, pricing, and positioning
- Technical fluency to partner credibly with engineering teams and reason about system constraints
- Track record of driving initiatives end-to-end with strong ownership and independent operation
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders across teams without formal authority
- Strong communication skills and executive presence for customer and sales conversations
