Backend Engineer

What you'll do

• Take full end-to-end ownership of designing, building, and scaling backend services and systems using TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL
• Design and deliver reliable, scalable APIs and core services that power critical business and product functionality
• Own deployments, contribute to CI/CD pipelines and ensure stable and secure production operations
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with a strong focus on performance, scalability, and long-term system health
• Monitor backend systems, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive continuous improvements in reliability and efficiency
• Contribute to architectural decisions around service design, data models, and integrations
• Mentor and guide other engineers, and help shape engineering standards and best practices
