Senior Finance Business Partner

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team at Pleo. This role involves shaping investment decisions with financial insights, driving financial outcomes through target setting, and supporting daily operations at the intersection of finance, product, and strategy.

What you'll do

• Act as the primary Finance Business Partner for the Product and R&D function
• Drive forecasting, budgeting, and business case development for Product and R&D initiatives
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers to evaluate ROI, roadmap prioritisation, and performance metrics
• Translate complex financial insights into actionable recommendations for cross-functional stakeholders
• Support monthly and quarterly business reviews with clear financial narratives
• Work closely with Product leaders to identify and report on key performance drivers across product verticals
• Lead development of holistic business plans to ensure Product strategies can be executed and scaled effectively
• Act as a 'mini-CFO' for the Product team, ensuring operational targets are met within budgets

What you'll need

• 7+ years of experience across Finance Business Partnering, Strategy and/or Consulting
• Proven experience supporting Product or R&D function in a Fintech or SaaS environment
• Strong commercial mindset, analytical skills, and comfort with ambiguity
• Ability to influence and challenge stakeholders with clarity and confidence
