About the role
You'll be a Senior Security Engineer focused on Cloud Security and Security Operations at Moss, working to strengthen cloud security architecture, detection capabilities, and incident response across their GCP infrastructure. You'll partner with the Staff Security Engineer to form the senior technical security core, reporting to the Director of Information Security.
What you'll do
- Design and improve cloud security architecture in GCP including IAM design, organizational policies, logging strategy, and network controls
- Own and evolve Cloud Security Posture Management setup in Wiz, driving remediation of misconfigurations and vulnerabilities
- Own and continuously improve Datadog Cloud SIEM platform
- Develop, tune, and maintain detection rules across cloud logs, identity systems, and SaaS integrations
- Lead security investigations and incident response for complex cloud and SaaS security events
- Integrate critical systems into SIEM and improve alert routing and triage workflows
- Translate threat scenarios into effective detection coverage and close visibility gaps
- Improve incident response playbooks and post-incident reviews
What you'll need
- 5+ years of security engineering experience with deep cloud security and security operations expertise
- Strong practical experience securing GCP environments including IAM, Cloud Audit Logs, and network architecture
- Strong experience securing Kubernetes environments (RBAC, service accounts, Workload Identity)
- Experience building and operating SIEM platforms (Datadog preferred)
- Experience with Cloud Security Posture Management tools (Wiz preferred)
- Experience securing CI/CD pipelines including GitHub Actions
- Understanding of cloud attack paths, identity risks, and modern infrastructure threats
- Fluent English language skills
