Collections Agent - Lending

About the role

As a Collections Agent in the Lending Tribe, you'll support small business merchants with debt management and repayment solutions. You'll handle outbound collection calls while providing excellent customer service to help merchants manage their financial obligations with SumUp in a fair and mutually beneficial manner.

What you'll do

• Deliver high-level customer service to vulnerable and non-vulnerable merchants
• Support merchants in financial difficulties by identifying appropriate arrears and debt management solutions
• Handle outbound collection calls and communicate solutions verbally and in writing
• Collaborate with team and stakeholders to improve products and service levels
• Proactively identify policy and process improvements for merchant experience
• Provide feedback on merchant ideas and improvements to the wider Lending Tribe

What you'll need

• Experience with outbound customer calls
• Strong organizational skills, vigilance, and time management abilities
• Strong analytical and investigation skills
• Knowledge of compliance, risk, and support procedures
• Excellent communication skills in English and German (minimum C1 level)
• Patient, self-confident, resilient personality with team player attitude
