About the role
This is a senior Business Operations & Strategy position focused on developing and launching new category verticals like Shows & Events to expand GetYourGuide's marketplace offerings. You'll work cross-functionally to create go-to-market strategies and drive business growth in the travel experiences sector.
What you'll do
- Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new category verticals to drive business growth
- Research and understand individual industries to craft compelling value propositions for suppliers
- Assemble and prioritize new category opportunities based on market research and financial potential
- Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful market launches
- Conduct data analyses to identify growth opportunities and engage with senior stakeholders
What you'll need
- 6+ years experience in Business Development, Strategy, or Marketing in fast-paced environments
- Experience in marketplace or SaaS companies preferred
- Strong commercial acumen with a test-and-learn mindset
- Strategic thinking ability to break down complex problems into actionable plans
- Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel, Looker, and external datasets
- Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and lead without detailed instructions
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and aligning multiple stakeholders
