About the role

This is a senior Business Operations & Strategy position focused on developing and launching new category verticals like Shows & Events to expand GetYourGuide's marketplace offerings. You'll work cross-functionally to create go-to-market strategies and drive business growth in the travel experiences sector.

What you'll do

  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies for new category verticals to drive business growth
  • Research and understand individual industries to craft compelling value propositions for suppliers
  • Assemble and prioritize new category opportunities based on market research and financial potential
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to ensure successful market launches
  • Conduct data analyses to identify growth opportunities and engage with senior stakeholders

What you'll need

  • 6+ years experience in Business Development, Strategy, or Marketing in fast-paced environments
  • Experience in marketplace or SaaS companies preferred
  • Strong commercial acumen with a test-and-learn mindset
  • Strategic thinking ability to break down complex problems into actionable plans
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools like Excel, Looker, and external datasets
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and lead without detailed instructions
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects and aligning multiple stakeholders
