About the role
This is a builder role. You'll own entire business lines, from identifying the opportunity to proving the unit economics to scaling it across 12 locations. You'll work directly with the leadership team — no layers, full ownership of your P&L from day one.
What you'll do
- Build the distribution engine. Design how each service reaches property owners through the product: in-app recommendations, usage-based triggers, automated cross-sell at the right moment. Systems, not campaigns.
- Run experiments fast. Test pricing, packaging, onboarding flows, and distribution channels. Strong opinion on what to try, discipline to measure it properly.
- Get on the ground. Spend real time across 12 locations understanding what owners actually need, not what a spreadsheet says they should want.
What you'll need
- Experience in growth, strategy, or venture building at a company with a real-world operations layer: proptech, fintech, marketplace, logistics. 0→1 experience is a strong signal.
- Fluent German (C2 or native). You'll work with German portfolio companies daily.
- Based in Berlin, willing to travel to portfolio company locations across Germany.
- You think in unit economics, not vanity metrics.
- High autonomy. You don't need a roadmap handed to you.
