Head of Operations

About the role

We're looking for a Head of Operations South to lead the integration and optimization of 5-8 portfolio property management companies. You'll work directly with the leadership team to transform these businesses from 5% to 40% margins while scaling operations and developing new revenue streams.

What you'll do

• Manage and recruit for portfolio companies, working with team leads to achieve growth goals
• Create and improve scalable operations and processes for each unique property management company
• Lead product development from idea to deployment, rolling out new software features across the portfolio
• Work hands-on with property management operations and real estate assets
• Integrate portfolio companies into Buena software systems to improve margins
• Develop new business units in adjacent industries like insurance and banking
• Conduct on-site visits and interviews to support recruitment and operations

What you'll need

• Experience in operations management and process optimization
• Strong people management and recruiting capabilities
• Ability to work autonomously and make decisions quickly
• Interest in property management and real estate
• Willingness to travel for on-site work with portfolio companies
• Strong analytical skills for financial data and margin improvement
