Head of Data (BI & Analytics)

About the role

Lead and develop the Data functions for an AI-driven trade platform, transforming raw operational signals into real-time intelligence. This is a front-line leadership role owning data models, pipelines, and metrics while developing AI-assisted systems for predictive analytics across sales, operations, and finance.

What you'll do

• Build and own the data warehouse, models, and BI stack ensuring single-source-of-truth visibility
• Work directly with Sales and Ops leadership to translate data signals into actionable insights
• Collaborate with Tech to deploy GPT-based or agentic assistants for forecasting, pricing, and anomaly detection
• Move the company from descriptive to predictive analytics and automate recurring reports
• Define, implement, and track core KPIs across GMV, NRM, automation percentage and order quality
• Hire, mentor, and scale an output-driven data team combining speed with accuracy
• Integrate data functions into Sales, Ops, Finance, Procurement, and Product workflows
• Ensure data quality through clean pipelines, consistent definitions, and zero ambiguity

What you'll need

• Proven leadership experience in data functions with ability to manage and scale teams
• Strong technical skills in SQL, data warehousing, and BI stack development
• Experience building predictive analytics and AI-assisted workflows
• Track record of translating data insights into business outcomes
• Ability to work directly with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
• Experience with automated reporting and dashboard development
