About the role

We are seeking a highly driven Investor Relations Manager to join our dynamic coverage team at Moonfare. In this role, you will work directly with high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth investors, and family offices, delivering actionable insights and tailored guidance to help them achieve their financial objectives. You will take ownership of meaningful client relationships, playing a pivotal role in driving engagement, deepening investor conviction, and contributing directly to revenue generation and business growth.

What you'll do

  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with high-net-worth individuals, ultra-high-net-worth investors, and family offices, delivering a best-in-class client experience
  • Act as a trusted partner to clients by providing insights, education, and guidance on private markets investments and portfolio construction
  • Support and execute private equity fundraising initiatives, including investor outreach, follow-ups, and pipeline management
  • Take a proactive role in investor portfolio management, including portfolio reviews and identifying optimization opportunities
  • Identify and act on opportunities to contribute to revenue growth, including upsell and cross-sell initiatives
  • Prepare high-quality client materials, including investment memos, reports, portfolio updates, and presentations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, and Account Management teams to enhance the investor experience

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in investor relations, private markets, wealth management, or financial services
  • Full written and spoken professional working proficiency in German and English
  • Understanding of private markets (private equity, venture capital, alternatives) and portfolio construction principles
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of contributing to revenue growth or client expansion
  • Proficient in portfolio planning and cash flow management, with advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
  • High level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail

Nice to have

  • MBA or CFA designation
