About the role
Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion. That means defining the stages, identifying the key moments, and setting the success metrics. Then building the programs to hit them.
What you'll do
- Own lifecycle strategy across onboarding, activation, retention, and expansion. That means defining the stages, identifying the key moments, and setting the success metrics. Then building the programs to hit them.
- You'll design programs grounded in real usage data, behavioral signals, and customer patterns - not guesswork.
- Support expansion by building contextual lifecycle messaging that works alongside Sales and Customer Success.
- Experimentation is expected. You'll run structured tests across messaging, sequencing, timing, and segmentation, and use what you learn to improve continuously.
What you'll need

- Hands-on experience with marketing automation tools. Customer.io experience is a strong plus.
- Data-driven: you know how to connect lifecycle programs to product usage, retention, and revenue outcomes
- Strong cross-functional collaborator. You can work with Sales, Product, and Engineering without losing momentum.
- You write clearly, think in systems, and ship things.
Nice to have
- Experience with PLG (product-led growth), open source, or freemium sales motions.
- Familiarity with workflow automation or developer tooling.
