Senior Software Engineer - Customer App

About the role

In the Customer Domain, you will work on complex backend and platform challenges that enable customer facing products. You'll develop software that enables customers to manage and monitor their systems while meeting high quality standards.

What you'll do

• Build software delivering incremental value in each iteration and improving customer experience with the solution.
• Improve developer happiness by improving stability, automating load tests and vulnerability scans.
• Grow and learn from team knowledge on technologies like Kafka, test-driven development in React, and Azure Bicep.
• Work on architecture and vision, analyzing new requirements and exploring solutions to organization-spanning challenges with elegant architectural solutions.
• Steer for empathy and understanding by getting input from operations, craftspeople, sales, and other stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software products that are scalable, flexible, maintainable, and testable.
• Ability to independently set up and manage pipelines, infrastructure and deployment of your code without relying on dedicated DevOps/Infrastructure team.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure to manage full implementation of services into projects.
• Experience with microservice architecture and strong knowledge of software architecture design patterns, including Event Driven Architecture.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of German is an advantage.
• Collaborative mindset, open to feedback, and inspired by the opportunity to contribute to the energy transition.

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, React, Flutter, MongoDB and Salesforce.
