Senior Software Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer you will work on complex problems in delivering renewable energy solutions: from digitalizing the planning of installation of solar panels with compelling frontend applications, to building APIs supporting real time energy data, all the way to scaling and operating cloud infrastructure in Azure.

What you'll do

• Building software with incremental value in each iteration, improving people's experience with solutions and making an impact towards climate goals.
• Improving developer happiness through stability, automation including load tests and vulnerability scans.
• Growing and learning by sharing knowledge and developing expertise across technologies like Kafka, test-driven development in React, and Azure Bicep.
• Working on architecture and vision, fusing cloud-native microservices, IoT applications, Salesforce backbone, and event-driven architecture.
• Steering for empathy and understanding by asking critical questions and balancing needs across operations, craftspeople, sales, and stakeholders.

What you'll need

• Proven experience delivering high-quality software products that are scalable, flexible, maintainable, and testable.
• End-to-end ownership: independently set up and manage pipelines, infrastructure and deployment of your code.
• Cloud infrastructure experience with ability to manage full implementation of services into your projects.
• Experience with microservice architecture and software architecture design patterns, including Event Driven Architecture.
• Collaborative and open to feedback, thriving in team environments and actively contributing to discussions.
• Strong communication skills in written and spoken English; German is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, Flutter, MongoDB and Salesforce.
