Senior Flutter Engineer

About the role

As a Flutter Engineer you will work on complex problems in delivering renewable energy solutions: from improving quality during installation of solar panels with compelling frontend application to showing real-time energy data from systems in the field.

What you'll do

• Build software delivering incremental value in each iteration, improving people's experience with solutions and impact towards climate goals
• Improve developer happiness through stability, automation including load tests and vulnerability scans
• Grow and learn through knowledge sharing on modular mobile apps, native code embedding, test-driven development, and canary releases
• Work on architecture and vision, analyzing requirements and solving organization-spanning challenges with elegant architectural solutions
• Steer for empathy and understanding by comprehending market needs and balancing stakeholder inputs from operations, craftspeople, and sales

What you'll need

• 6 years+ of experience building large scaled mobile apps (preferably +4 in Flutter)
• Strong proficiency in Flutter/Dart with deep understanding of its ecosystem, including state management, widget libraries, and asynchronous programming
• Strong experience with an Object Oriented language (Swift, Java, Kotlin, or Dart)
• Solid understanding of best practices of mobile development and scalable architecture
• Strong understanding of writing testable code and automation testing
• Deep appreciation for mobile products and excellent user experiences
• Experience with the full mobile app development lifecycle, from concept to production and post-release monitoring using Crashlytics or Datadog, including proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation
