About the role

Join our Platform Team and contribute to building and enabling internal tools and automation systems that empower Enpal's business ventures to operate faster and more efficiently. Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions that strengthen our core platform.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to both building and enabling internal tools and automation systems that empower Enpal's business ventures to operate faster and more efficiently.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into scalable technical solutions that strengthen our core platform.
  • Take full responsibility for your initiatives from initial discovery and concept development to hands on implementation and successful rollout within the organization.
  • Identify bottlenecks in automation processes, analyze stakeholder requirements, and help build effective, reliable solutions that improve efficiency across a wide range of teams.
  • By combining consulting and technical execution, guide business teams through technical possibilities, ask the right questions, challenge assumptions, and deliver practical solutions that create measurable value.
  • Shape automation strategies and reusable components that benefit multiple ventures and contribute to a consistent and scalable internal technology landscape.
  • Apply your understanding of software engineering principles, relational databases, APIs and scripting to develop robust tools and integrations for Enpal's Core Technology platform.

What you'll need

  • Ideally an (advanced) completed degree in a technology related field such as Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, Data Science/Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable practical experience through technical training and demonstrable results.
  • Previous involvement in tasks like software development, automation enablement, internal tooling, platform engineering or in a startup environments.
  • Hands on experience building (internal) tools or process automations, including workflow configuration, scripting or (lightweight) application development.
  • Profound knowledge of scripting or programming, experience with relational databases, and familiarity with APIs or integration tools.
  • Proactive and solution-oriented mindset with the ability to combine analytical thinking and practical implementation.
  • Strong ownership mentality and the ability to manage projects independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and the profound ability to collaborate with both business and technology teams.
  • English fluency required. German language skills are beneficial.

  • Demonstrated experience with low code applications and automation enablement.
