Senior Analytics Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Analytics Engineer at Enpal Financial Services, you'll turn data into products that allow the business to scale. You'll own the data warehouse end to end, designing and maintaining scalable dbt pipelines while bridging business and data teams across the company.

What you'll do

• Turn data into products by identifying and automating key business processes through data products that allow the business to scale.
• Own the data warehouse end to end—design, build, and maintain scalable dbt pipelines with clean architecture, a modern semantic layer, and robust testing frameworks.
• Work closely with stakeholders across the company to deeply understand processes, decisions, and strategy.
• Shape the infrastructure by evaluating tools, guiding architectural decisions, and keeping ahead of scaling challenges as data scope grows.
• Have both strategic and executional ownership of your projects.
• Ensure that data work is compliant and robust enough to endure in a fintech environment.

What you'll need

• Expert knowledge of the modern data stack, including dbt, cloud warehousing, CI/CD, and BI visualization tools such as Looker or Metabase.
• Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing platforms such as BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift.
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, including financial metrics and both B2B and B2C use cases.
• Experience using Python or an equivalent language, ideally with shipped data products that directly serve critical business workflows.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills to speak the language of business and product teams.
• Platform intuition from working on data platforms, understanding what scales and what doesn't.
