Portfolio Manager

About the role

As Portfolio Manager, you will focus on our Commercial & Industrial (C&I) venture within Enpal. You will work closely with lenders and senior leadership, and gain hands-on experience in structured finance within a dynamic, fast-growing environment where your work directly impacts business growth.

What you'll do

• Assist in overseeing C&I lease portfolios, ensuring accurate reporting, timely payments, and covenant compliance.
• Support monitoring of loan agreements and help implement risk mitigation measures.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including controlling and cash collection, to maintain reliable financial data.
• Review and validate financial reports under the guidance of senior colleagues, ensuring alignment with investor expectations.
• Gain hands-on exposure to structured finance, SPV structures, and portfolio operations.
• Support reporting to lenders, equity partners, and senior management with clear and concise analyses.
• Contribute to process improvements and development of internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.

What you'll need

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong finance and accounting knowledge, including a solid understanding of financial statements and cash flow mechanics.
• Hands-on experience with financial modeling (e.g. forecasting, scenario analysis, business cases).
• Fluency in English. Fluency in German is strongly beneficial.

• Exposure to structured finance topics, SPV setups, or asset-backed portfolios.
