About the role
As Director of Engineering, ERP, you are accountable for shaping and operating a robust, scalable ERP landscape that serves as a core platform across Finance, Operations, and our Financial Product. You ensure the system reliably supports day-to-day business operations while continuously evolving to meet the needs of a fast-growing and increasingly complex organization.
What you'll do
- Define and continuously evolve a clear target picture for the ERP landscape in close collaboration with Finance, Operations, and Commercial stakeholders.
- Own the technical integrity of the ERP system, including architecture, integrations, and overall system design.
- Ensure the ERP system serves as a reliable foundation for operational processes, financial flows, and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and ensure their feasibility within the ERP architecture.
- Own and drive the resolution of concrete system and process issues, ensuring continuous improvement of existing structures.
- Act as the technical representative for ERP within the organization, bridging business and engineering with deep domain expertise.
What you'll need
- Proven experience working deeply within ERP systems, with the ability to understand and steer system behavior in depth.
- Strong technical background as a Functional Consultant, ERP Developer or Solution Architect.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Finance & Operations (F&O) is highly valuable, as it is central to our ERP landscape. Experience with Dynamics AX / AX2012 or comparable ERP systems is also considered relevant.
- Hands-on experience designing ERP system architecture and making sound technical decisions at system level.
- Strong understanding of integration architecture and common integration patterns within complex system landscapes.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable and robust system solutions.
- Strong analytical mindset with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to problem solving and system improvement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively across multiple business units and senior stakeholders.
