Operations Manager - Fahrzeugauktionen

About the role

You'll be responsible for managing vehicle auctions from OEMs in day-to-day operations at a Berlin-based automotive tech startup. This role involves strategically distributing vehicles across digital showrooms and optimizing auction processes to revolutionize the European automotive market.

What you'll do

• Take operational responsibility for daily business and manage strategic vehicle distribution across showrooms for optimal presentation
• Control strategic vehicle placement on the platform to ensure balanced and sales-optimized marketing
• Monitor ongoing auctions, supplement missing information, and optimize data quality
• Maintain direct customer contact to collect missing vehicle data and ensure information completeness
• Handle internal requests and issues related to vehicle auctions

What you'll need

• Proven experience as Operations Manager or in comparable operational positions, preferably in startup environments
• Structured and meticulous working approach with ability to systematically execute processes and identify error sources
• Passion for process scaling and continuous optimization from A to Z
• Advanced proficiency with Google Workspace or MS Office, including formulas like SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables
• Very good German skills (minimum C1 level) and English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have

• Experience with automation tools like Make, Zapier, or similar platforms
• Additional languages such as French or Spanish
