Senior Data Architect

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Data Architect to design and implement enterprise-level data structures and infrastructure at Moonfare. You'll be responsible for creating data architectures that support our private markets business while positioning the firm for AI and advanced analytics adoption.

What you'll do

• Act as lead authority on data architecture, aligning business objectives with data strategy and technology solutions
• Design and maintain logical and physical data models, schemas, and structures for reporting, analytics, and operational processing
• Oversee data integration processes and recommend management tools to enhance infrastructure
• Develop comprehensive data strategy supporting financial business objectives and governance frameworks
• Manage enterprise data assets, including metadata repositories and data lineage documentation

What you'll need

• Proven track record designing enterprise data architectures in regulated financial services
• Strong expertise in enterprise data modeling principles, including dimensional and operational modeling for finance
• Experience in data integration, ETL processes, and database management across multiple platforms
• Experience delivering AI and advanced analytics projects from inception to production
• Proficiency with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, and metadata management tools
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
