Amara is a Berlin-based startup creating an AI-powered companion for older adults. The product supports cognitive abilities, provides daily structure, and helps users maintain independence and safety.

The Role

You will own the paid acquisition engine, scaling user installs and conversions across Meta, Google, YouTube, TikTok, Apple Search Ads, and emerging channels. The position combines strategy with operations—designing experiments, building campaigns, running creative tests, and scaling winning concepts into repeatable systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute full-funnel acquisition campaigns across Meta, Google, Apple, YouTube, and TikTok
  • Manage media budgets, pacing, and optimization toward CPI/CAC targets
  • Test emerging channels like Nextdoor and Reddit for incremental reach
  • Develop audience segmentation strategies and analyze performance by creative, audience, and placement
  • Amplify influencer content through Spark Ads and paid boosts
  • Run 10–20 creative variations weekly to maintain testing velocity
  • Own dashboards and tracking via Adjust, Mixpanel, GA4, and Looker Studio
  • Build experiments around CAC, ROAS, retention, and payback period
  • Implement server-side tracking infrastructure (GTM, CAPI) and app attribution
  • A/B test landing pages, ASO, and onboarding; support CRM flows for retention

Requirements

  • 5+ years hands-on paid media experience for consumer apps or DTC brands
  • Proven track record managing multi-channel budgets with ROI discipline
  • Deep expertise in TikTok Ads Manager, Meta Business Suite, and Google Ads
  • Mobile app growth and attribution modeling experience
  • Proficiency in campaign automation, pixel setup, and audience retargeting
  • Basic SQL or Looker knowledge for performance analysis
  • Fluent English; German a plus
