About the role
Lead the RegTech Engineering team at Raisin, building automated infrastructure for Identity and Access Management and regulatory compliance. You'll translate complex regulations like DORA, SOC2, and ISO 27001 into scalable engineering solutions while managing a team of engineers in a high-security FinTech environment.
What you'll do
- Define technical roadmap and strategic direction for RegTech Engineering team
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of RegTech Engineers
- Architect secure, scalable systems for Identity and Access Management and regulatory automation
- Drive design and integration of governance and compliance tooling including GRC platforms and CMDB systems
- Ensure systems meet audit standards and regulatory requirements like DORA, SOC2, and ISO 27001
- Champion engineering best practices including secure coding and infrastructure as code
- Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Audit, Security, and Engineering teams
- Advance automation and AI-driven approaches to replace manual workflows
What you'll need
- 7+ years engineering experience with 3+ years in technical leadership role
- Experience in regulated FinTech, Banking, or high-security environment
- Deep expertise in scalable, secure architectures and microservices
- Strong hands-on proficiency in Python; Go or Java experience a plus
- Experience with AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Working knowledge of DORA, FCA, SOC2, and ISO 27001 regulations
- Experience with AI, machine learning, or advanced automation for compliance challenges
- Experience with IAM systems, GRC platforms, and automated audit pipelines
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills
