About the role
As a senior engineer on a remote-first Platform team, you will lead initiatives that improve developer workflows, design and deliver reliable CI/CD pipelines, enforce testing best practices, and explore new ways of working with AI-assisted development and workflows across the organization. You will have a direct impact on engineering efficiency, software quality, and developer experience.
What you'll do
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines that are reliable, scalable, and easy for teams to use
- Improve developer workflows, including pull requests, local development, templates, and "golden paths" to make engineering work smoother
- Define and enforce testing frameworks and quality gates to ensure software is robust, maintainable, and reliable
- Explore and implement AI-assisted development and automation to reduce repetitive work and improve workflows
- Collaborate with engineering teams to adopt best practices and platform tools, aligning work with business needs
- Mentor peers and promote platform standards, helping engineers grow and improving developer experience across the organization
What you'll need
- 6+ years of experience delivering software and platform solutions
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and help teams adopt best practices
- Experience building and operating CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- Experience in designing and integrating automated testing strategies and quality gates
- Applied AI-assisted development or automation tools to improve workflows
- Passionate about improving developer experience and productivity

- Familiarity with: GitHub Actions, CircleCI, Grafana, AWS, Cloudflare, Terraform, FluxCD, Kubernetes, Cloudflare Workers
