About the role

As an Engineering Lead (f/m/d) at LIQID, you will lead a team of software engineers building our next-generation digital wealth management platform — managing over €3 billion in assets. You balance technology and people, provide technical direction, write high-quality code and help your team to grow personally and professionally.

What you'll do

  • Own your team's domain from a technical and architectural perspective
  • Drive technical design, code quality, testing, and system reliability best practices
  • Actively contribute to the codebase and development lifecycle while unblocking and supporting your team
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other Engineering Leads to define and execute the product roadmap
  • Foster a high-performance engineering culture that values autonomy, ownership, and continuous improvement
  • Identify and lead initiatives to continuously improve scalability, developer experience, and delivery processes across teams
  • Mentor and develop engineers through regular feedback, career planning, and mentoring

What you'll need

  • 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack development, ideally in a web or mobile environment
  • Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js, familiarity with frontend frameworks like React or React Native and databases such as PostgreSQL or Redis
  • Solid understanding of scalable system design, software architecture patterns and clean code principles
  • Proven experience mentoring and leading high-performance engineering teams
  • A deep sense of ownership: you take responsibility not just for tasks but for outcomes, and hold yourself and your team accountable for delivering high-quality work
  • A proactive and curious mindset: you continuously learn, share knowledge, and inspire others to grow while anticipating and preventing problems
