Product Manager - Onboarding & KYC

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Product Manager to join our Customer Identity group, focusing on developing innovative financial technology products. You will be responsible for customer identity verification topics, enabling secure and frictionless experiences for N26 users globally during onboarding and throughout their lifecycle.

What you'll do

• Support strategic discussions and product designs in the customer identity product area
• Create and execute product roadmaps with an outcome/KPI-driven mindset
• Ensure successful product rollouts by working cross-functionally with local market teams, marketing, operations, compliance, and engineering
• Support customer onboarding with focus on identity verification, new product launches and expansion plans
• Run discoveries to identify pain points and opportunities, brainstorming solutions to improve customer onboarding experience
• Work with business teams, product managers, designers, and engineers to improve KYC verification across multiple markets
• Collaborate with external partners to ensure seamless integration and effective customization for N26 customer needs

What you'll need

• At least 5 years of experience in Product Management
• Experience managing high-volume B2C onboarding funnels and conversion optimization
• Experience in FinTech, banking, InsureTech, payment processing, or similar regulated environment
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with hands-on approach
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong understanding of agile product development and delivery
• Tech awareness and digitally native mindset with high drive for meeting customer needs

Nice to have

• Experience in KYC or Identity verification
• Experience working with vendor solutions and driving feature customizations
• Familiarity with SQL
• Curiosity and familiarity with new technologies and databases
