Founding Engineer

About the role

Building the product end-to-end as one of the first engineers at Delvo, shaping what Delvo becomes with direct founder access and real user feedback while transforming a $50 trillion industry through AI-powered procurement intelligence.

What you'll do

• Own core product areas end-to-end — from AI agent orchestration to the UI that category managers use daily
• Design reliable LLM workflows with evaluation loops, guardrails, and observability that work in production
• Build real-time supplier data pipelines, normalisation, and integrations with enterprise ERP systems
• Ship to production daily — collaborate directly with customers and iterate based on real feedback
• Make architectural decisions across the full stack — performance, security, developer experience
• Define engineering culture, tooling, and processes as the team grows

What you'll need

• Strong full-stack foundation — care about interfaces, back-ends, and the seam between them
• Proficient in TypeScript & Python; experience with Next.js and modern APIs
• Hands-on with LLMs, retrieval, embeddings, and understanding latency/cost/quality trade-offs
• Builder mindset — default to shipping, learning from users, and iterating fast
• Comfortable with ambiguity — figure out what to build, not just how to build it
