About the role
The Leadership Development Manager will drive leadership capability, enable high-performing teams, and support strategic change across GetYourGuide. This role is for a people-first enabler with exceptional facilitation skills, a deep understanding of behavioral change, and hands-on leadership experience.
What you'll do
- Partner on Strategic Change and Interventions: Work closely with People Partners and senior leaders on major change management and leadership/capability transformation initiatives. Act as a sparring partner and co-designer—helping leaders navigate transformation, embed new operating models, and drive behavioral change.
- Support Key Strategic Projects: Partner on strategic global initiatives—from operating and collaboration frameworks and decision-making processes to goal setting and operational execution. Identify opportunities to strengthen leadership capability and improve the employee experience across key touchpoints.
- Design and Deliver Leadership Programs: Own the creation and evolution of leadership development programs, workshops, and learning journeys—both centrally and in partnership with department leaders. Build experiences that drive mindset shifts, strengthen leadership skills, and support managers in creating high-performing teams.
- Own and Optimize Key Vendor Relationships: Manage key learning partnerships (e.g., Sharpist, GoodHabitz). Build strong relationships, negotiate offerings, and ensure we're getting maximum value and impact from these partnerships.
- Facilitate Engaging Learning Experiences: Lead dynamic leadership sessions, workshops, and cohort-based programs. Work with various cohorts across the organization to create high-impact experiences that stick.
What you'll need
- Leadership Experience: Deep Understanding of People Management: You've worked closely with managers — whether as a coach, facilitator, People Partner, or former people manager yourself — and you understand firsthand what it takes to manage, develop, and inspire people.
- Enablement and Facilitation Expertise: You excel at designing and delivering learning experiences that drive behavioral change. You're a charismatic facilitator who can engage any audience—from new managers to senior leaders—and make complex topics accessible and actionable.
- Strategic Partnership Skills: You build strong relationships with cross-functional teams, senior leaders, and external vendors. You're independent, self-sufficient, and know how to influence without authority.
- Change Management and Behavioral Design: You understand how to drive change at scale. You know how to use learning design principles, behavioral science, and practical tools to shift mindsets and embed new ways of working.
- Tech-Savvy and Forward-Thinking: You're comfortable leveraging AI and digital tools to scale impact. You stay curious about new approaches to learning and development, and you're excited to experiment with what's possible.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: You get a kick out of uncovering root causes and designing meaningful solutions. You measure impact to ensure your initiatives drive real change, and you're comfortable adapting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
