PMO Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented PMO Analyst to support internal and external project coordination for complex defence AI projects. This role focuses on providing critical data analysis, reporting, and insights to project managers and stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered within defined timelines and budgets.

What you'll do

• Collect, analyze, and interpret project data related to progress, schedules, and budgets
• Track project expenses, assist with budget reconciliation, and identify financial variances
• Prepare comprehensive financial and project status reports with variance analysis and forecasting
• Identify and analyze trends in project risks and opportunities, contributing to mitigation strategies
• Assist in developing and maintaining project plans while ensuring data accuracy
• Coordinate project-internal requirements with central staff
• Organize meetings and workshops, including with military customers in the field
• Maintain project documentation and ensure proper archiving for reporting and auditing
• Build and maintain project steering dashboards tracking KPIs for cost, schedule, and resources
• Communicate project status and performance analysis to internal stakeholders

What you'll need

• Initial experience in project support, project controls, or administrative role with financial/analytical component
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Commercial training, Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, and risk management principles
• Willingness to travel regularly
• Business-fluent in both German and English
• Ability to meet security clearance requirements

Nice to have

• Experience as a PMO Analyst or in data analysis
• Familiarity with project management software
