About the role

As a Senior Account Manager at Upvest, you'll take full ownership of the strategic growth and long-term success of prestigious enterprise and fintech partners across Germany and Europe. You'll be the architect of long-term partnerships, ensuring clients unlock the full potential of Upvest's Investment API while driving commercial value and acting as their primary advocate within the organization.

What you'll do

  • Develop and own strategic success plans for a portfolio of priority enterprise and fintech clients
  • Drive commercial growth by identifying and executing upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Navigate complex organizational structures within large financial institutions to influence C-level stakeholders
  • Act as a strategic advisor, understanding clients' business needs to help them scale investment offerings
  • Manage high-stakes negotiations and complex contract renewals
  • Collaborate with Product and Growth teams to relay market feedback and ensure market leadership

What you'll need

  • 6+ years of experience in strategic account management within Fintech, Investment Banking, or B2B SaaS
  • Proven track record of executing long-term account strategies in complex, regulated environments
  • Strong commercial mindset with experience driving revenue growth and managing high-value accounts
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, translating technical concepts into business impact
  • Professional proficiency in German and English (native German essential)
  • Proactive, structured approach with ability to anticipate client challenges
  • Solid understanding of the investment industry and competitive landscapes

Nice to have

  • Experience with Investment infrastructure, Banking-as-a-Service or complex API-based infrastructure
  • Deep understanding of German regulatory landscape and European financial markets
  • Background in management consulting within financial services
  • Genuine passion for personal investing and democratizing investment infrastructure
