About the role

This is an Office Manager / Team Assistant role at a venture capital firm, serving as the operational backbone of their new office. You'll provide comprehensive administrative support to the Operating Partner while managing all aspects of office operations, from guest relations to financial administration.

What you'll do

  • Own complete office operations including guest relations, mail handling, conference room management, catering, and maintaining office equipment
  • Handle preparatory accounting tasks including invoice collection, expense documentation, payment preparation, and working with finance tools like Candis and Pleo
  • Serve as the Operating Partner's trusted organizer managing calendars, meetings, travel arrangements, and sensitive communications
  • Support HR operations including recruitment, job posting, application screening, interview coordination, and new hire onboarding
  • Manage software subscriptions, service agreements, contract renewals, pricing negotiations, and user access administration
  • Proactively identify and fix operational issues while suggesting improvements to maintain office culture and efficiency
