Fullstack Software Engineer

About the role

Join Contentful as a Fullstack Software Engineer working on automations, workflows, and collaboration tools. You'll build scalable applications using TypeScript, React, and Node.js to help thousands of customers manage content at scale within the Contentful ecosystem.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable frontend and backend features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Work closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to build automation, workflow, and collaboration features
• Implement and integrate collaboration technologies to enhance team productivity and user experiences
• Quickly fix bugs and solve problems to enhance customer satisfaction
• Utilize analytics to inform product decisions and improve features
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
• Stay current with industry trends in automations, workflows, and collaboration tools

What you'll need

• Demonstrable experience as a Full Stack Software Engineer in product development
• Strong skills in TypeScript, React, and Node.js with clean code practices
• Familiarity with enterprise architectural design patterns
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Natural problem-solving skills and ability to bring forward practical solutions
• Excellent communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Ability to organize and prioritize competing workloads in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have

• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
• Previous experience with automation engines and building collaboration features
• Experience working with team workflow tools
