Head of Engineering

About the role

We're seeking an engineering leader to scale Amperecloud's engineering organization and help build the operating system for renewable energy. You'll work on mission critical infrastructure that energy operators rely on daily, shaping the future of green energy management.

What you'll do

• Scale and structure the engineering organization
• Drive major architectural and platform decisions
• Make delivery faster, more reliable, and more predictable
• Integrate AI into products and internal tooling where it adds real value
• Unblock teams when challenges arise
• Act as a trusted technical thought partner to leadership
• Build a culture of ownership and quality

What you'll need

• Proven experience as an engineering leader in scaling organizations
• Systems thinking approach and AI-first mindset
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to push teams forward
• Startup experience with customer interaction capabilities
• Track record of building strong engineering teams
• Results-oriented approach focused on outcomes over hours
