About the role
We're looking for a driven and customer-obsessed Inbound Sales representative to engage directly with merchants, help them discover the right SumUp products, and grow our presence in one of Europe's most dynamic regions.
What you'll do
- Own your pipeline: Manage the full sales cycle — qualify leads, engage prospects via phone and email, deliver consultations, and convert them into loyal customers
- Be the trusted advisor: Understand the needs of small businesses and guide them toward the right SumUp solutions (card readers, POS, software, services)
- Showcase value: Run product demos and consultations that clearly communicate how SumUp simplifies operations for merchants across DACH
- Drive performance: Meet and exceed ambitious sales KPIs in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Collaborate and grow: Work closely with your peers in our Berlin office, share best practices, and contribute to a high-energy, success-oriented culture
- Champion customer insights: Track progress, share learnings, and help shape how we continue to improve our approach to merchants in the region
What you'll need
- Has proven experience in sales — ideally in POS, SaaS, hospitality, retail, or similar industries
- Is fluent in German (C1+) and strong in English for internal teamwork
- Enjoys consultative selling and building long-term customer relationships
- Thrives in performance-driven environments and is motivated by clear, ambitious targets
- Communicates confidently and builds rapport quickly
- Is self-driven, resilient, and eager to grow professionally
- Brings a positive, solution-oriented attitude to the team and to every customer conversation
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Swiss German and Austrian German
