Embedded Flight Software Engineer

About the role

You will join the Mission & Space Segment team, playing a key role in shaping the onboard software that powers our satellite constellation across its full lifecycle — from early design through to in-orbit operations. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where you will help define how our satellites compute, behave, and evolve in space.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain embedded flight software for satellite systems across the full lifecycle from design through in-orbit operations
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams, Product Assurance, Project Management, and Operations on day-to-day activities
• Work with external suppliers to ensure technical alignment and mission readiness
• Contribute to system-level design decisions for onboard software
• Support procurement activities and supplier technical coordination
• Ensure onboard software is continuously validated, improved, and ready for operation in orbit

What you'll need

• Embedded software development experience, preferably in aerospace or mission-critical systems
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ or similar low-level programming languages
• Experience with real-time systems and software architecture
• Knowledge of software validation, testing, and quality assurance processes
• Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
