About the role

This is more than a normal Account Executive role—it's a rare opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of public sector transformation in Germany. You will build key relationships at the highest levels, driving engagement and sales across some of the largest German governmental ministries and organisations at federal and state levels with the objective of positioning Celonis as a strategic transformation partner for these institutions.

What you'll do

  • Clearly communicate the Celonis public sector-specific value proposition through presentations and proposals with high quality and deep domain knowledge
  • Own annual sales targets within your assigned segment/accounts
  • Partner effectively with your customers, deeply understanding their needs and translating them into tangible outcomes
  • Engage closely with partners (e.g. consulting firms, technology vendors) and build and maintain trusted, long-lasting relationships, ensuring alignment at all levels and proactive account management
  • Drive complex sales cycles through orchestrating virtual teams including business development representatives, marketing, partner management, pre-sales, customer success, professional services and partners

What you'll need

  • Deep understanding of the German public sector at federal and/or state level, supported by an established professional network
  • Strong background in sales and/or management consulting
  • Highly ambitious, driven, and results-oriented with a track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets
  • Strong ability to build and maintain senior stakeholder relationships across complex organizations
  • Experience managing complex, long sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders
  • Demonstrated success in working with or through partners—especially consulting firms and enterprise technology providers
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both German (fluent) and English
  • Self-starter with excellent time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills
