About the role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Investment Analyst to join our high-performing Investments team in Berlin. In this role, you will collaborate with leading private equity managers, drive strategic initiatives, and support new product launches. This position offers hands-on exposure to diverse private equity strategies and the opportunity to take ownership of impactful responsibilities while building meaningful industry relationships from day one.
What you'll do
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and models in Excel to evaluate investment opportunities
- Develop a deep understanding of the private markets through exposure to multiple strategies, including Buyout, Growth, Venture Capital, Secondaries, Infrastructure, and Private Debt
- Prepare comprehensive due diligence reports for primary fund investments, co-investments, and secondary transactions
- Drive strategic initiatives, including the launch of new products and cross-functional projects
- Monitor and report on fundraising performance, contributing to achieving target fundraise goals
- Design and refine presentations in PowerPoint to summarise findings and recommendations
- Cross collaborate internally to ensure seamless execution and commercialisation of investment opportunities
- Contextualise data and insights from multiple sources to provide clear, actionable conclusions
What you'll need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of post-graduate experience in asset management, private markets, investment banking, or consulting
- Demonstrates familiarity with private equity, funds, and alternative investments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in Office Suite including Excel
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, team-oriented mindset with a problem-solving approach
