Design Engineer – Product UX & Prototyping

About the role

You'll be the founding design engineer at Delvo, building the UX for an AI-powered procurement intelligence platform. This role combines product design with rapid prototyping to make complex enterprise workflows feel effortless for procurement professionals.

What you'll do

• Own end-to-end UX for complex procurement workflows with crisp states, clear error handling, and fast paths
• Prototype rapidly in Figma, v0, Loveable, and Bolt, then pair with engineers to ship
• Shape the design system from the ground up including components, tokens, accessibility, and interactions
• Design agent interactions that communicate reasoning, uncertainty, and confidence clearly
• Run discovery and usability sessions with category managers and procurement leaders
• Elevate data visualization for supplier comparison, benchmarking, risk, and cost analysis

What you'll need

• Strong product sense and craft with attention to copy, polish, and edge cases
• Deep UX/UI experience with complex B2B products and design systems
• Proficiency in Figma and rapid prototyping tools like v0, Loveable, or Bolt
• Design thinking rigor with pragmatic delivery in ambiguous environments

Nice to have

• Frontend development literacy
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, data visualization, procurement, or ERP systems
