Sr. Global Category Manager IT - Indirect Procurement

About the role

The Sr. Global Category Manager IT will oversee strategic sourcing and contracting for HelloFresh's IT portfolio, including software landscape, hardware, and infrastructure. You'll collaborate with global stakeholders and suppliers to optimize commercials and navigate procurement processes while supporting initiatives to increase procurement maturity.

What you'll do

• Conduct detailed spend analysis and benchmarking to create data-based category strategies and sourcing activities
• Create, align and execute sourcing roadmaps with stakeholders to deliver P&L savings and procurement value
• Develop and optimize the global software portfolio in collaboration with IT Services team
• Cultivate senior-level relationships with Tech and business partners to support company growth objectives
• Act as point of contact for IT-related procurement questions
• Design and maintain category reporting to senior executives and internal stakeholders
• Lead implementation of best-in-class procurement processes and tools

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years in IT procurement or Tech with strong commercial focus
• Knowledge of strategic sourcing methodology, category management, and supplier management
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, comfortable working independently
• Experience in spend and market analyses as well as benchmarking
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation abilities
• Demonstrated change management and project management skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build trust and credibility
• Strategic thinking with execution focus and ability to work in fast-moving environment
• Fluent business English
