Medical data intern

About the role

This is a 6-month medical data internship with Doctolib's Terminology and Ontology team, focusing on developing medical terminology for their Patient Mobile App in Italy. You'll work on collecting, formatting, and translating medical terms to help patients better understand and manage their health data.

What you'll do

• Collect and format medical terminology sets for pathologies, allergies, and treatments based on standard terminologies like ICD10 or SNOMED CT
• Adapt technical medical labels to create patient-friendly, understandable terms
• Translate labels from English to Italian
• Choose and filter appropriate terms, validating selections with medical experts
• Share work and methodology with terminology and product teams
• Deliver formatted terminology sets to technical teams

What you'll need

• Medical background with diploma integrating medical domain learning
• Experience with medical data or terminology systems like ICD10, SNOMED CT
• Proficiency in Word and Excel
• Python programming skills
• Strong attention to detail and rigorous approach
• Native Italian speaker
• Good understanding of French or English for team communication
