Legal Trainee (Rechtsreferendar)

About the role

This is a Legal Trainee position for law students in their practical legal training phase (Referendar). The role is available either as part-time work during legal clerkship or as an elective stage of practical legal training at an international tech company.

What you'll do

• Review and draft various contracts including NDAs and commercial agreements
• Manage IP-related third-party complaints and coordinate with tech and content teams
• Maintain data privacy (GDPR) documentation and processes
• Contribute to contract lifecycle management (CLM) system maintenance
• Conduct legal research on business-relevant topics
• Manage customer and supplier claims independently
• Handle general administrative tasks and correspondence

What you'll need

• Currently a law student in practical legal training phase (Referendar/in)
• Excellent academic credentials with strong interest in commercial and contract law
• Fluent in both English and German
• Strong interest in the intersection of law and technology
• Proactive learning approach with strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international team environment
