About the role

Own one of Buena's next revenue verticals from zero. You'll pick a vertical adjacent to property management—brokerage, banking, energy services, insurance, or financing—and build it into a real business. You'll own the P&L, strategy, partnerships, product, and first customers as the founder of the vertical inside Buena.

What you'll do

  • Own the P&L for your vertical: revenue, margin, and payback.
  • Drive the product—define what needs to exist for your vertical to work, write the spec, and work directly with PMs and engineers to ship it.
  • Roll out across all portcos, leveraging one good deal across 30,000+ units by designing the rollout and shipping a playbook that works in every portco.
  • Grow with the company, measured in numbers: one main metric, tracked in every Linear update and weekly review.

What you'll need

  • You've started something before—founded a company, built and sold a product, or scaled a freelance business.
  • You think commercially first: unit economics, margin, payback, and deal structure come naturally to you.
  • You ship fast and make reversible decisions without a second meeting.
  • You can sell—you've personally closed deals, signed partners, or convinced people to give you money.
  • You speak fluent German (C2).
  • You work from our office in Prenzlauer Berg (not remote).

Nice to have

  • You don't need to be a brokerage or banking expert on day one, but you'll outresearch and outthink industry veterans in 60 days.
  • The instinct: "this is mine, I'll figure it out."
