About the role

M&A Pipeline Lead working directly with the CCO on the engine that drives Buena's growth: the M&A pipeline. Every property manager in Germany is a potential acquisition target; your job is to make sure we know about every single one of them.

What you'll do

  • Build the target universe: every property manager in Germany on one list with revenue, headcount, locations, ownership structure, and signal of intent to sell.
  • Build the sourcing engine that turns the list into deals: funnels from cold target to qualified conversation, automated email sequences, pipeline management, creative outbound campaigns.
  • Run market research at the edges: pick up the phone and talk to property managers directly to find answers not on the internet.
  • Grow the function by hiring and managing working students to extend coverage, and work closely with the creative director on campaign messaging.
  • Report directly to the CCO with no middle layers.

What you'll need

  • Fluent German (C2). Most targets, their public filings, and conversations are in German.
  • Structured and obsessive about data quality.
  • Resourceful in research across Handelsregister, Northdata, LinkedIn, company websites, phone calls, and industry directories.
  • Move fast: ship v1 today and improve weekly rather than perfect before launch.
  • Based in Berlin or willing to relocate; this is an in-office role in Prenzlauer Berg.

  • You've built a real outbound or sourcing motion from scratch: a database, campaign, deal pipeline, or recruiting funnel.
