Founders Associate - GTM & M&A

About the role

You'll work directly with the CCO on the engine that drives Buena's growth: the M&A pipeline. Every property manager in Germany is a potential acquisition target; your job is to make sure we know about every single one of them. In your first quarter, you'll build the full target universe. By the end of year one, you'll be running outbound campaigns and feeding the deal team with conversations that move the company forward.

What you'll do

• Own the funnel that drives every Buena acquisition — strategy, execution, measurement, and iteration end-to-end
• Build a deal visibility machine across ~30,000 PM-GmbHs in Germany; design detection layers including sources, signals, and automation
• Run the full GTM stack: outbound, inbound, partnerships with M&A advisors, paid, content, and events
• Develop proprietary market intelligence on the German PM landscape
• Report directly to the CCO and sit in every M&A conversation that matters

What you'll need

• Fluent German (C2) — most targets, filings, and conversations are in German
• Structured and obsessive about data quality
• Resourceful in research using Handelsregister, Northdata, LinkedIn, company websites, phone calls, and industry directories
• Move fast and ship v1 today rather than perfect it for weeks
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate to our Prenzlauer Berg office
• Experience building a real outbound or sourcing motion from scratch: a database, campaign, pipeline, or funnel
