About the role
As a Project Manager, you will lead the global deployments and scaling Buddywise for our major enterprise clients. You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of large deployments, taking projects from preparing and executing the initial live rollouts to scaling them across clients' global operations.
What you'll do
- Own Deployment Roadmaps: Execute the rollout strategy for large-scale AI safety monitoring, transitioning enterprise clients from initial single-site deployments into live operations and scaling up to hundreds or thousands of sites.
- Bridge Tech and Reality: Align deeply with product and tech teams to connect software development roadmaps with real-world, on-site hardware deployment realities.
- Hardware & Vendor Management: Manage the physical component of our solutions, including sourcing, vendor negotiation, and setting up reliable blueprints for power, internet connectivity, and physical edge computing devices.
- On-the-Ground Execution: Work closely hands-on with the clients local teams at installation sites to ensure system deployments go smoothly.
- Empower the Frontline: Ensure that frontline users are trained, equipped, and able to install the system easily and correctly, creating scalable documentation and training materials.
- Stakeholder Governance: Lead communication and project governance with internal teams and external enterprise stakeholders, driving progress updates, resolving roadblocks, and measuring success outcomes.
What you'll need
- 5+ years of experience in project management, technical project management, or deployment operations, ideally managing both software and physical hardware rollouts.
- Proven track record of managing complex, phased deployments in dynamic, real-world environments (e.g., construction sites, industrial facilities, or large-scale infrastructure).
- Vendor and hardware experience with a strong background in procurement, supply chain scaling, and negotiating hardware or connectivity solutions.
- Cross-functional translation skills with the ability to bridge the gap between technical software teams and operational field workers.
- Hands-on mentality with the willingness and ability to travel to industrial sites to oversee deployments, test workflows, and gather direct feedback.
- Exceptional organisational skills to manage multiple initiatives, client phases, and priorities simultaneously.
- Startup readiness with experience operating effectively in scale-up environments where resources are limited and priorities move quickly.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
Nice to have
- Experience deploying computer vision, AI, or IoT solutions in industrial or construction environments.
- Background in hardware setups or network connectivity solutions.
- Professional working proficiency in German or other European languages.
What they offer
- Based in Berlin; Stockholm candidates also considered.
- Regular travel to client installation sites and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
