About the role
Support the development of components and assemblies for a driverless vehicle platform. You'll work closely with engineers and designers, helping build, assemble, finish, and test mechanical and electronic parts in a hands-on workshop environment.
What you'll do
- Support the fabrication of components using FDM and SLA 3D printing and basic metalworking
- Help with surface finishing and post-processing, including sanding, painting, and coating
- Assist with the assembly of mechanical and electronic systems, including soldering, crimping, wiring, and cable routing
- Support installation and testing of components on vehicle platforms
- Help source parts and coordinate with suppliers or external workshops
- Work closely with engineers to improve designs and iterate on prototypes
- Maintain workshop tools, materials, and equipment
- Contribute to fast, practical problem-solving in day-to-day development work
What you'll need
- Currently enrolled in a degree program such as mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, industrial design, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field
- First hands-on experience with prototyping, workshop assembly, or building technical projects
- Familiar with 3D printing and common workshop tools
- Basic experience with electronics work such as soldering, crimping and wiring
- Enjoy building things with your hands and solving practical problems
- Work carefully, independently, and with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
