Fitness Manager - Expansion

BEAT81 is scaling across German cities over the next 24 months. This role has two parts: supporting platform operations and coach sourcing in your home city, and project-based expansion work where you relocate to new cities for 3 to 6 months at a time to launch studios, source coaches, and hire local leadership. This is a builder role, not a steady-state coaching position.

What you'll do

• When launching a new city, lead the fitness build on the ground for 3 to 6 months: map local coach talent, support coach sourcing, personally coach classes during launch, confirm studio equipment and logistics are ready, and hire the local Fitness Manager to take over.
• Build local relationships with the broader fitness community and serve as a point of contact for freelance coaches with questions about studio availability and logistics.
• Capture lessons learned from each launch in a playbook.
• Between launches, source and introduce coaches to the BEAT81 platform, with a focus on experienced professionals delivering high-quality group fitness.
• Analyse class and platform data to identify trends and support strategic decisions about format availability and studio operations.
• Work with product and tech teams to develop and improve platform tools, studio equipment and features.
• Stay ahead of industry trends, bringing fresh ideas to enhance market positioning.

What you'll need

• Based in Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Düsseldorf or Cologne.
• 2+ years of structured group fitness coaching at a high standard, with CIRCUIT / HIIT experience required.
• Experience in group fitness leadership and working alongside other fitness professionals.
• Builder mindset: comfortable with ambiguity, ready to start from zero in a city with no BEAT81 presence.
• Genuinely willing to relocate for 3 to 6 month launch windows, repeatedly.
• Fluent in English. At least B2 German.

• RIDE / indoor cycling experience (willingness to get onboarded is required if not).
